New features and enhancements

Improved support for mobile application generated OTPs

In some specific cases, mobile application generated OTP values could be replayed for a very short period without triggering code replay detection. This version provides the same strict control of code replay detection for hardware devices as for mobile devices.

Deprecated components and features

End-of-life of OneSpan Authentication Server Framework

OneSpan Authentication Suite supersedes all previous versions of OneSpan Authentication Server Framework and VACMAN Controller. All versions of VACMAN Controller up to 3.18 reach end-of-life in June 2024, all versions of OneSpan Authentication Server Framework/VACMAN Controller up to 3.22 will reach end-of-life in March 2025. We strongly recommend to migrate to OneSpan Authentication Suite 4.0 at your earliest convenience to allow future upgrades and receive further product enhancements.
