The OneSpan Trusted Identity platform and Application Service Providers communicate through protected web services using the SSL/TLS protocol. This protocol ensures mutual authentication between the platform and ASP, as well as confidentiality and integrity of exchanged data. The OneSpan Community Portal allows users to build solutions and test integrations, including creating key pairs and public key certificates for SSL/TLS within the TID platform.
The OneSpan Trusted Identity platform (TID) and the Application Service Providers (ASPs) that use the TID platform communicate through web services. These web services are protected by the Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) protocol.
The SSL/TLS protocol provides the following security features:
Mutual authentication, i.e. authentication of the TID platform to the ASP, and vice versa.
Protection of the confidentiality and integrity of all data that is exchanged between the TID platform and the ASP.
Via the OneSpan Community Portal, you can build your solution and test your integration. By using the getting in production functionality, you can create the key pairs and the public key certificates that are used by SSL/TLS in the context of the TID platform.
