Alerts can be completed either by using the Action\Result button from the Risk & Relationship Management event detail page or the NEW ACTION\RESULT button from the customer detail page.
Several buttons are available in the event detail page and allow the following actions:
Fraud dispositions: Allows you to tag the current transaction or non-monetary event either as a fraud or as genuine at the event level.
Launch Actions: Allows you to launch pre-defined workflows at the event level for whitelisting, graylisting, and blacklisting IP addresses, devices, etc.
Action Result: Enables you to add an action to be taken, a required result, and a memo for the relevant customer. This step is available at any level. You can also place the record on hold for a specific duration.
You can only edit the Action Result fields in the event detail page if you are actually managing an alert record! However, it is always possible to add a memo, regardless of the status.
To add an action result
In the alert record, click Action Result.
Select an action code from the corresponding list to add an action to be taken.
Select the required result from the corresponding list.
(OPTIONAL) Enter an explicit work date.
Select the Complete on Work Date expiry and Critical check boxes, if required.
Enter a text in the Memo box.
Click Save to finish the wizard.
If you are on the customer details page, the New Action \ Result button enables you to add an action to be taken, a required result, and a memo for the relevant customer. You can also place the record on hold for a specific duration.
