# Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Integration

You can use Dynamics 365 to help you manage SharePoint documents. Configuring Dynamics 365 for integration with SharePoint involves the following:

#### Configure Dynamics 365 for Document Management

1. Navigate to **Settings > Advanced Settings**.
2. Click **System Settings > Document Management**.
3. Click **Document Management Settings**.
4. Ensure the Opportunity entity is selected.
5. Specify the SharePoint site you want to integrate with. You can skip the **Select folder structure** step – folder structures will be created automatically.
6. Documents associated with Opportunities will appear under this SharePoint path: [https://softsys01.sharepoint.com/sites/CRMTestDocs/opportunity](https://softsys01.sharepoint.com/sites/CRMTestDocs/opportunity)

#### Verify SharePoint Site Connection

1. Navigate to **Settings > Advanced Settings**.
2. Click **System Settings > SharePoint Sites**
3. A default site pointing to the connected SharePoint location should appear automatically.

#### Test the Integration

1. Create a new Opportunity in Dynamics 365.
2. Switch to the **Files** tab.
3. A default document location will be automatically configured.
4. Click **Upload** and select a document from your local drive.

#### Confirm Document Sync in SharePoint

1. Go to the connected SharePoint location.
2. Verify that the appropriate folder has been created under the **Opportunity** structure.
3. Check that the uploaded document is visible in the corresponding folder.
