Article summary

You can configure LDAP user details to be added during synchronization:

  1. Define a value in an attribute in the LDAP data store.

  2. Map that attribute to the relevant attribute in the LDAP user record.

If you want to create a user with an authenticator assigned, put an authenticator serial number into an empty attribute on the LDAP source data. Then, map that attribute to the Assigned Digipass attribute on the destination user record.

The synchronization process will pick the authenticator serial number and assign the authenticator to that user. The authenticator must exist and it must be in the domain in which the user is defined.

When deleting a multi-device licensing user with LDAP Synchronization Tool, the license will automatically be unassigned, and all license instances will be deleted.

Almost any attribute of the LDAP user record can be updated in this way. Be aware that if you want to add a linked user you must also supply the linked user domain.
