Article summary

When defining a profile you can specify the root directory in the LDAP data store to be used during synchronization. The synchronization can be started at a specified level in the LDAP data store, and will work as long as the structure and naming rules are applied.

The root directory in the destination OneSpan Authentication Server data store can also be specified, and will work in the same way.

For example, consider Figure: Root directory definition. In this diagram, the source LDAP data store has more than one branch. The starting level for synchronization can be defined as whatever level you need. The level specified will act as the starting level for synchronization and will synchronize with the specified level in the destination data store.
