During synchronization, LDAP Synchronization Tool tries to reconcile the organizational structure of the source LDAP data store with the organizational structure of the destination OneSpan Authentication Server data store.

If the structures are the same, the synchronization will proceed without creating additional organizational units.

LDAP Synchronization Tool can also be configured to automatically create missing organizational units, specifically under the following conditions:

• The organizational structures of the source and destination data stores differ.

• There are missing organizational units with users in them.

• The Create missing org units option is enabled.

In this case, LDAP Synchronization Tool will create the missing organizational units.
