App extensions

Some apps contain embedded apps, for example watchOS apps, app clips or app extensions. Normally, the Shielding Tool will leave these alone, so they will not be protected.

Adding the --shield-all-extensions option to the Shielding Tool command line will apply protections to all app extensions embedded in the app. This only applies protections to "app extensions", and not to other kinds of embedded apps, such as watchOS apps or app clips. This option will apply the same protections to app extensions as to the main app.
