App Shielding runtime data

The Shielding Tool creates a data file that is required by App Shielding native libraries at runtime. The data file gets a randomized name and is added to the application’s assets/ folder. For example:

• assets/mkpgniimiaie.dat

The Shielding Tool creates, encrypts, and signs the runtime data. The App Shielding library loads and verifies the .dat file on starting the application. The runtime data contains:

• Configuration options, which are passed to the Shielding Tool as an .xml file.

• Binding data, which are extracted by the Shielding Tool .

• Additional internal data generated by the Shielding Tool.
