As a checker administrator, you can approve one or more pending operations that have been initiated by a maker administrator.
Approving a pending operation is possible only if you have the required administrative privileges. You can only approve pending operations that are within your administrative scope.
Before you begin
- Ensure that you have administrative access to the OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface.
- Ensure that you have the Approve/Reject Pending Operation privilege assigned.
Approving a pending operation
To approve a pending operation
- Log on to the Administration Web Interface.
- Select SERVERS > Pending Operations.
From the list, select the pending operation(s) that you want to approve.
If you want to view the details of a pending operation, click the corresponding pending operation identifier (POID). The Manage pending operation page provides general information about the operation, as well as update history and command details.
Click APPROVE.
The Approve Pending Operations window is displayed.
- Enter a comment in the Note field.
Click APPROVE.
The state of the pending operation is set to Approved. The maker administrator receives a notification that the pending operation has been approved.
If the maker administrator selected the Execute the operation automatically after approval checkbox when creating the pending operation, the operation is automatically completed now on the maker's behalf.
After successful approval, you are redirected to the list of pending operations.
