Auditing uses information generated about events in the OneSpan Authentication Server, LDAP synchronization and Configuration Tool components, as well as system and user actions. Auditing can be managed via the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Configuration Tool using the live audit viewer ). It occurs in real-time, allowing administrators to view a limited number of recent events and includes amongst others, information about administration events, authentication attempts and RADIUS accounting data.
Audit records are stored in a database part for one month or to a maximum of 500 MB, whichever limit is reached first. OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance detects when audit data is using too much hard disk space and automatically cleans the oldest information.
The following topics provide information about the following:
- Overview of OneSpan Authentication Server audit settings.
- Viewing, filtering, and exporting files in the live audit view (see Viewing audit files).
- Exporting audit files (see Exporting and downloading auditing information).
- Downloading audit files (see Exporting and downloading auditing information).
- Setting up automatic deletion of audit files (see Exporting and downloading auditing information).
