For detailed information about logon methods and options, refer to the product documentation for your authentication server
Response-Only logon
Users log on via the current logon page with their user name and a one-time password (OTP).
1-step Challenge/Response logon
A random challenge—the length is configured for all users in the authentication server’s policy—is displayed on the logon page. Users log on with their user name and authenticator response to the displayed challenge. This requires the modification of the current logon page used by Remote Desktop Web Access. For more information, see Set up the 1-step Challenge/Response logon page.
2-step Challenge/Response logon
After the logon page, the Digipass Authentication Module redirects users to a challenge page, where a random challenge—of the length required by the user’s authenticator—is displayed. The user must enter a response to the challenge to complete the logon.
A challenge page template must be used with this feature. A default template is provided. You can use it as is, or customize it to match your preferred look and feel. For more information, see Create a 2-step Challenge/Response template.
Virtual Mobile Authenticator logon
Users logging in with Virtual Mobile Authenticator use a similar process to the 2-step Challenge/Response logon. If the user has a primary Virtual Mobile Authenticator assigned, or requests use of the backup Virtual Mobile Authenticator feature during the first step, an OTP will be sent to the user’s mobile phone via text message. The user is then redirected by the Digipass Authentication Module to the challenge page to enter the OTP.
This logon method uses the same challenge template as the 2-step Challenge/Response logon.
