Bulk Authenticator Assignment

You can assign authenticators to users in bulk via the user import process. To do so, add a SerialNumber column to the user import file and specify the corresponding authenticator serial number for each user in this column. Note that all authenticator records to be assigned must be imported first before. For more information, see Importing authenticator records.

You cannot import user records from a user import file and automatically assign authenticators to the user accounts if maker–checker authorization is enabled. If you attempt to do so, you will get an error message.

You can also assign multiple authenticators to a single user via the user import file.

To assign multiple authenticators to a single user (via the user import file)

1. Add a new entry for the same user in the user import file, but with a different SerialNumber entry.
2. Do this for every additional authenticator you want to assign to the same user.
3. When you import the users from the user import file via the User Import Wizard, enable the Update existing user accounts option on the Import Users page.
4. Continue the import process as usual.
