Résumé de l’article

A client component record is required for each service that should run on OneSpan Authentication Server, such as RADIUS or SEAL.

Each service (for example authentication) in the network, which needs to access OneSpan Authentication Server services, must be registered on OneSpan Authentication Server as a client component for access to be allowed and policies to be applied. For more conceptual information, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Product Guide, Sections "Components" and "Policies". For a reference of the relevant UI fields, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Administrator Reference.

Client records are registered in OneSpan Authentication Server under the CLIENTStab of the OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface.

To register client records in OneSpan Authentication Server

  1. Log on to the OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface (see  Accessing OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Configuration Tool and OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface).
  2. Select CLIENTS > Register.
  3. Specify the client type.
  4. Enter a policy ID.
  5. Specify the protocol ID.
  6. Enter optional settings if required, e.g. a RADIUS shared secret or the character encoding.
  7. Select the Enabled checkbox to enable the new client.
  8. Click Create.
