Client Components Properties

The following properties are common to all client components:

• Application type. See Client component types.
• Location. The network source location for requests.
• Protocol. The communication protocol used by the client component.
• Policy. The policy to use when handling requests by the client.

If you modify the IP address of OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance via the Configuration Tool, a new administration program client component record is created. The previous records can be deleted. However, do not delete the client component configured for the current IP address, because this prevents further access to the Administration Web Interface.
