The OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Configuration Tool interface supports installation and management of OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance and is intended for system administrators. Some of the features managed through the Configuration Tool require a connection to the OneSpan Customer Portal (see OneSpan Customer Portal).
The Configuration Tool provides the following functionality:
- Installation configuration. The Configuration Wizard supports installation configurations (see First-time setup). Manual configurations are also possible after completing the Configuration Wizard, using the Configuration Tool (see Manual configurations).
- Licensing. All instances of OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance need to be licensed (see Licensing).
- Updating. Manually download and install updates, when available (see Updating).
- Backup and restore. See Backup and restore.
- Auditing and logging. Information generated from OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance can be searched using live viewers.
- System statistics. Statistical data is available about OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance, the services, disk and memory usage, and interface (see Statistics).
- Message Delivery Component (MDC). This component supports the use of Virtual Mobile Authenticator functionality and is used to send notifications (see Message Delivery Component (MDC) ).
- Remote support. Remote support can be provided by OneSpan. Note that remote support requires a connection to the OneSpan Customer Portal.
- LDAP user synchronization. Synchronization supports automatically creating and updating user account records from an LDAP server to OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance (see LDAP user synchronization).
- Replication. See Replicated data.
- System actions. Restart, shut down, and reset default administrative user passwords are actions possible via the System Actions menu of the Configuration Tool. For more information, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Installation and Maintenance Guide.
