Configuring HTTP Proxy Servers

If a proxy server is required for access to the internet, this must be configured for MDC.

To configure Message Delivery Component proxy server(s)

1. Start the MDC Configuration Utility.
2. Select the delivery method for which you want to use a proxy server (SMS delivery, Voice delivery, or Push deliver) by clicking its corresponding tab from the left pane.
3. Switch to the Proxy settings tab.
4. Select Enable proxy.
5. Type the IP address and port of the HTTP proxy server.
6. Type the user name and password of a user account with the required permissions to access the gateway.
7. Click Apply.
