Connection error

Description

Password Synchronization Manager is unable to establish a connection to OneSpan Authentication Server.

Possible causes

• The assigned Password Synchronization Manager configuration is invalid.
• The server is offline.
• The computer is not connected to the network or not reachable.
• A firewall prevents communication between Password Synchronization Manager and OneSpan Authentication Server.

Solutions

If the OAS configuration is invalid:

• Use PSM Remote Configuration Manager to change the configuration.

If OAS is offline:

• Verify that the OneSpan Authentication Server service is started.

If OAS is not reachable:

• Verify that the Ethernet cable is plugged into the network adapter (wired networks only).
• Verify that the wireless switch is turned on (wireless networks only).
• Verify that the network adapter is working.
