To test the system and the different authentication types, you need to create a test policy in OneSpan Authentication Server.

To create a test policy

  1. Open OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface.
  2. Navigate to Policies > Create.
  3. In Policy ID, enter Test.
  4. Enter a description, if desired.
  5. In Inherits from, select the default policy from which the Test policy inherits the default settings. Depending on which authentication type you wish to test, select one of the following default policies:
    • Testing online and offline authentication: select Windows Logon Online Authentication - Windows Back-End
    • Testing Push Notification authentication: select IDENTIKEY Authentication with Secure Channel
  6. In the Digipass tab, click Edit and set Assignment Mode to Auto-Assignment.
  7. Click Create.
