Configuration

Before you migrate data with Data Migration Tool (DMT), you may need to configure your system and consider additional tasks required to plan and complete your data migration, such as data that is modified by the migration, data that is not migrated, and useful migration options.

If your organization is impacted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), note that Data Migration Tool uses the SEAL port that is not SSL-encrypted to connect to OneSpan Authentication Server. To be GDPR-compliant, OneSpan recommends to setup a VPN tunnel between Data Migration Tool and OneSpan Authentication Server to secure the connection.
