Résumé de l’article

Configuring Document Visibility for Ad Hoc Groups

It will be possible to apply document visibility settings for Ad Hoc Groups.

Just as with other recipient types:

  • If the Ad Hoc Group has a signature/field on a given document, they will automatically have visibility on that document and that visibility cannot be removed.

  • If the Ad Hoc Group is a reviewer only on a given document, they will automatically have visibility on that document, but that visibility can be removed.

Ad Hoc Group members, who are not also individual recipients, cannot be given visibility on documents. They will inherit the visibility of the ad hoc group they belong too.

From the Sender interface, ad hoc group members will not be displayed on the Document Visibility screen.

From the API, visibility for ad hoc group members will be ignored, if it is defined.

Applying Document Visibility for Ad Hoc Groups

Document visibility configurations will be applied within the signing ceremony and to the signed documents that are (optionally) emailed to members.

In the case where the ad hoc group member is also an individual signer, they will see the documents that are visible to them as an individual as well as those visible to the ad hoc group(s) to which they belong.
