    We recommend the following measures to ensure the secure usage of OneSpan Authentication Server:

    • Secure installation of OneSpan Authentication Server. Verify the authenticity of the installation binaries. The product CD includes checksum files with the OneSpan Authentication Server packages that facilitate this verification.
    • Server hardening. Disable components of the product package that are not used, for instance EMV-CAP, RADIUS communicator, live audit, or the Message Delivery Component (MDC). For more information about hardening the system, see Hardening the OneSpan Authentication Server operating system .
