The SERVERS > Global Configuration > DIGIPASS Activation tab contains solution-wide configuration settings for messages sent via the Message Delivery Component for Mobile Authenticator Studio activation. The changes of the settings in this tab apply to all OneSpan Authentication Server instances in a replicated environment.

Field name	Description
DIGIPASS Activation Delayed
The options in this section specify messages sent via MDC for delayed activation.
SMS
Message Template	Message template to use in SMS messages for delayed activation. Default value: "The activation process (max [delayed_activation_period] h) for your DIGIPASS has been started. Serial number: [serialnumber]."
Voice
Message Template	Message template to read by the voice delivery service for delayed activation. Default value: "The activation process (max [delayed_activation_period] h) for your DIGIPASS has been started. Serial number: [serialnumber]."
Email
Header Name	Optional. The name of a custom message header field to set in the message header. Default value: <empty>
Header Value	Optional. The value of the custom message header field specified by Email Message Header Name. Default value: <empty>
Subject	The text which should appear in the Subject field when a message is sent for delayed activation. Default value: "Your DIGIPASS Activation Status"
Message Template	Message template to use in mail messages for delayed activation. Default value: "The activation process for your DIGIPASS with serial number [serialnumber] has been started. You will receive additional notification within [delayed_activation_period] hours."
DIGIPASS Activation Completed
The options in this section specify messages sent via MDC for completed authenticator activation
SMS
Message Template	Message template to use in SMS messages for completed authenticator activation. Default value: "The activation process for your DIGIPASS has been completed. Serial number: [serialnumber]."
Voice
Message Template	Message template to read by the voice delivery service for completed authenticator activation. Default value: "The activation process for your DIGIPASS has been completed. Serial number: [serialnumber]."
Email
Header Name	Optional. The name of a custom message header field to set in the message header. Default value: <empty>
Header Value	Optional. The value of the custom message header field specified by Email Message Header Name. Default value: <empty>

Message Template	Message template to read by the voice delivery service for offline activation data. Default value: "Your offline activation data is [oad]. Serial number: [serialnumber]."
Email
Header Name	Optional. The name of a custom message header field to set in the message header. Default value: <empty>

Subject	The text which should appear in the Subject field when a message is sent for offline activation data. Default value: "Your DIGIPASS Offline Activation Data"
Message Template	Message template to use in mail messages for offline activation data. Default value: "Your offline activation data for the DIGIPASS with serial number [serialnumber] is [oad]. QR-code: [oadQR]."

When you configure message templates, you can use different placeholder strings as variables. If applicable, the placeholder strings are replaced during runtime with the actual values. Otherwise the placeholder string will not be replaced.

Placeholder string	Description
delayed_activation_period	The delayed activation period (in hours), i.e. the number of hours until an authenticator becomes active.

Table: Activation placeholders: Offline activation data message template placeholders
Placeholder string	Description
[oad]	The generated offline activation data, in text format.
[oadQR]	The generated offline activation data, presented in QR format. This field can only be used in email message templates!

Table: Generic message template placeholders
Placeholder string	Description
[domain]	The user domain.
[email]	The user's email address.
[mobile]	The user's mobile number. In Active Directory, this refers to the Mobile field in the user's list of available Telephones.
[phone]	The user's phone number. In Active Directory, this refers to the Telephone number field.
[serialnumber]	The serial number of the authenticator.
[userid]	The user identifier.
[username]	The user name.
