Résumé de l’article

Schedulable tasks

The following tasks can be scheduled to run at a definable time:

  • Import users
  • Run reports (PDF only)
  • Rotate cryptographic keys
  • Migrate data (after an upgrade of OneSpan Authentication Server)
  • Delete audit data
  • Delete finished tasks

A scheduled, recurring task can be configured on a daily or monthly basis. In addition, you can also schedule a task to run on:

  • Specific day(s) of every week (e.g. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
  • A specific day of selected months (e.g. the 15th day of the months January, April, and July)

Schedule restrictions

The following restrictions apply to task scheduling:

  • You can schedule only one Migrate Data task. In environments where multiple OneSpan Authentication Server instances are used, this task can be scheduled on only one server instance.
  • The following tasks can only be run immediately and cannot be scheduled for a later time:

    • Import authenticators from DIGIPASS export file (DPX)
    • Import authenticators from CSV
    • Run XML/HTML reports (foreground only)

Result notifications

When the scheduled task is completed, the task owner can be notified about the completion via text message or email if desired. The notification method can be configured when the task is scheduled.
