Use the Import DIGIPASS (CSV) wizard to import from a DIGIPASS import file.
Available via DIGIPASS > Import CSV.
Before you start the wizard, you must do or have the following:
- a valid DIGIPASS import file
- a custom storage derive key if the authenticator BLOB data is protected with custom encryption
- If you want to import the authenticator records and assign them to user accounts automatically (specified by user IDs and domains in the DIGIPASS import file), disable maker–checker authorization. Otherwise you will get an error message when running the import task.
Upload File
Use this page to specify the DIGIPASS import file and its corresponding custom storage derive key.
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Get CSV file | Click Browse to search for the DIGIPASS import file to upload. |
Custom Storage Derive Key | Optional. By default, you can enter a 32-digit key in this field. If you migrate from OneSpan Authentication Server Framework, this is the storage derivation key. The derivation key is set using the four storage derive key kernel parameters, i.e. StorageDeriveKey1, StorageDeriveKey2, StorageDeriveKey3, and StorageDeriveKey4 as concatenated hexadecimal value. |
Click Upload to upload the file.
Options
This page allows you to specify additional import options.
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Reset all DIGIPASS Applications | This option resets authenticator records during the import process. You need to enable this option if the system clocks vary between the source server and the destination server. The time zone settings must be correct on the destination server, and the clocks of the source and destination servers must be synchronized. Small time variations will generally not matter as the Time Window functionality will tolerate minor variation and re-synchronize the authenticator application. For more information about time windows, refer to the respective product documentation for your products. |
Update existing records | This option allows you to specify how to handle authenticator records that already exist in the database:

Schedule Task
Enter details to schedule this task.
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Run immediately | Runs the task now. This will lock the Administration Web Interface session. You will not be able to perform other operations until the task has finished. |
Run in background | Runs the task in the background without locking the Administration Web Interface session. You will be able to perform other operations in the Administration Web Interface. It will also allow you to schedule and run the task at a later time. |
Notify me of completion by | Specifies whether and how to send notifications when completing the task. Possible values:
|
Click Next to start importing from the DIGIPASS import file. The command schedules a server task that processes the authenticator data.
Summary
This page summarizes the process. The information differs depending on whether the task was run immediately or scheduled to run in background.
Click Finish to complete the operation and close the wizard.
