Before a Digipass authenticator can be assigned to a user, a Digipass record must be imported into the data store. This record includes all important information about the Digipass authenticator, including its serial number, applications, and programming information. This information is delivered as DIGIPASS export file (DPX).
A Response-Only authenticator application is required for Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon.
Before you begin
A demo Digipass authenticator can be used for the testing tasks. OneSpan Authentication Server provides sample DPX files, which are located in
- %PROGRAMFILES%\VASCO\IDENTIKEY Authentication Server\dpx\ on Windows
- /opt/vasco/ias/dpx on Linux
Import Digipass records
- Open the OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface.
- Navigate to Digipass > Import.
- Enter or browse to the import path and enter the name for the .dpx file.
- Enter the transport key, which is 11111111111111111111111111111111 for the installed demo DPX files (press the 1 key 32 times).
- Click Upload.
- In the Applications tab, ensure that the required applications are selected, and click Next.
- In the Options tab, click Import.
- In the Domain tab, select the Active Directory domain (primary DNS suffix).
- In the Schedule Task tab, leave all settings unchanged and click Next.
- In the Summary tab, click Finish.
