Résumé de l’article

OneSpan Code Obfuscation is an extension to OneSpan App Shielding that protects Android native libraries and iOS app executables and frameworks. It uses the Jigsaw engine (version 1.18.x) to provide state-of-the-art code protection techniques embedded directly into your native binaries to prevent reverse engineering and modification.

The Jigsaw engine also provides strong binding to the App Shielding library, protecting the whole application from runtime attacks. Because the engine works directly on the machine code in the library, there are no limitations on the development tools that you can use to create your native components.

Prerequisites

To implement OneSpan Code Obfuscation, you will need the Shielding Tool command line tool and a version of App Shielding with a Jigsaw license enabled.

For Android, you will need an app with at least one native library in it. The library must be built for one of the following architectures:

  • arm64-v8a

  • armeabi-v7a

  • x86_64

For iOS, you will need an app whose files to protect are compiled for arm64. iOS fat binaries (i.e., those with both an arm64 and armv7 slice) cannot be protected.
