License and Hardware Requirements

• System memory. At least 1 GB is recommended.
• Hard disk. Only 1 HDD is allowed. A minimal size of 32 GB is required to successfully load and run the OneSpan Authentication Server Virtual Appliance ISO image. We strongly recommend a capacity of 100 GB or more for production use.
• SCSI type. Must be set to VMware Paravirtual.
• Network. Only 1 network device is supported and can be assigned to your virtual appliance.

The system clock of the host operating system must be accurate and preferably synchronized with a time server in order to correctly compute one-time passwords.

If you use an incorrect host key, the virtual appliance’s full functionality will be disabled after a grace period of 30 days. Only basic administration will be possible. For more information, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance documentation.
