Licensing Wizard

The Licensing Wizard is started via two methods:

• Immediately after completing the Configuration Wizard (via the Activation Successful page).
• After completing the Configuration Wizard, via a status screen link to initiate the Licensing Wizard.

It guides you through the process of downloading and applying the license for OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance.

After the System Information page in the Licensing Wizard you will need to access the OneSpan Customer Portal before continuing.

The system information file that is downloaded on this page contains information specific to your OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance device. This information is required during registration on the OneSpan Customer Portal to acquire a license file.

Acquiring a license file

Two types of license file exist:

• A commercial license file, which remains valid indefinitely.
• An evaluation license file, which is only valid for 30 days.

To acquire a license file for your OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance, you need to upload the system information file to the OneSpan Customer Portal. This file identifies your appliance to OneSpan to issue a respective license file.

Open a web browser and go to the OneSpan Customer Portal: https://cp.onespan.com/. Follow the instructions on the OneSpan Customer Portal to acquire the license file required.

Upload License

When the license file has been downloaded, you must upload it to the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance. On the Upload License page, browse to the downloaded license file and click Next.

License Activation

OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance verifies the uploaded license for validity. When the License Activation page is displayed, click Next to activate the license.

License Activation Confirmation

The License Activation Confirmation page will be displayed to confirm the activation. This page indicates that the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance services (such as authentication) are now available.
