Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, 64-bit
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 64-bit (version 7.9)

The LDAP Synchronization Tool Configuration Utility and the Audit Viewer can only be launched on a supported Linux server with the X Window System running.
In addition, ensure that your distribution uses the X11 display server. LDAP Synchronization Tool does not support the Wayland display server, which is the default environment on some Linux distributions.
Installing LDAP Synchronization Tool on Linux
To install LDAP Synchronization Tool (Linux)
Open a terminal.
Log in as root using the hyphen option (su -).
This ensures you load the root profile, not the default profile.
Navigate to the mounted disk or ISO image containing the LDAP Synchronization Tool setup files and run the install script:
./install-ldapsync.sh
The install script will guide you through the installation.
Use Space to scroll through the license agreement and type yes to accept it.
If required, specify the user account that the LDAP Synchronization Tool daemon should run as, by default onespan-ldapsync.
If you specify a user that does not exist, the installation script will automatically create that user.
The installation script installs the package. When the required components have been installed, LDAP Synchronization Tool Configuration Utility is started to complete the initial configuration.
Use LDAP Synchronization Tool Configuration Utility to configure your profiles, including tracing and auditing information (see LDAP Synchronization Tool Configuration Utility).
The new settings will not take effect until the LDAP Synchronization Tool daemon has been restarted.
Additional considerations
LDAP Synchronization Tool runs as a daemon called ikldapsync.
This daemon can be started and stopped using the following commands, respectively:
/etc/init.d/onespan-ldapsync start
/etc/init.d/onespan-ldapsync stop
