LDAP Synchronization Tool uses profiles to define the following:
Data to be synchronized
Location of the source and destination data stores
Synchronization options
Make sure that you are using a user ID that has adequate administration privileges for the data store you intend to update.
Each profile contains the following information:
Source LDAP data store location
The location of the source LDAP data store to be synchronized with the destination OneSpan Authentication Server location, along with logon details.
Destination OneSpan Authentication Server data store location
The location, details, and logon information of the OneSpan Authentication Server data store that receives the data from the source LDAP data store.
Data mapping and filtering information
The definition of how the data in the source LDAP data store is mapped to the data in the destination OneSpan Authentication Server data store.
This information also includes the definition of filters to restrict the synchronization data for this profile.
Synchronization timing information
Synchronization can be scheduled by setting a start time and the elapsed time between subsequent synchronizations.
Multiple profiles can be defined to synchronize one or more source LDAP databases with one or more destination OneSpan Authentication Server data stores.
