In the Tracing tab you can specify the trace level and the location of the trace file used by LDAP Synchronization Tool.

Field name | Description |

Tracing level | Select the level of tracing required:

Trace file | If you have selected basic or full tracing, specify the path and file name for the trace file. The file path must be the full absolute path. |
Enable log rotation | Select this option to configure automated archiving of the trace files, i.e. closing and renaming the current trace file and opening and using a new one. This option will only be available if Basic Tracing or Full Tracing has been enabled. |
Rotate on days | Select this option and specify a number of days to start a new trace file after the specified number of days has elapsed. |
Rotate on size | Select this option and specify a file size to start a new trace file when the current trace file exceeds the specified size. |
Number of archived logs | Specify the number of trace files to keep. The number of archived trace files will remain constant. When a new trace file is added, the oldest archived file will be deleted. |
Compress archived logs | Select to enable compression of the archived trace files. |
