Managing security updates for OneSpan Authentication Server

Always keep OneSpan Authentication Server up to date. All security updates for OneSpan products originate directly from OneSpan. For the period for which you have a current maintenance agreement with OneSpan, these updates are available for download from the OneSpan Customer Portal at https://cp.onespan.com/.

We strongly recommend to follow best practices for the management of security updates and regularly review available updates and patches for all software on systems hosting OneSpan Authentication Server, including antivirus and antimalware software, and operating system software.

Third-party antivirus and antimalware software can interfere with OneSpan Authentication Server and prevent it from working correctly. To prevent issues, add OneSpan Authentication Server to the exclusion list of your antivirus application. The excluded files and folders should be skipped from real-time scanning, but we still highly recommend to scan them regularly using scheduled scans during off-peak time windows.
