The Mobile Authenticator Studio app can be configured for multi-language support. Mobile Authenticator Studio loads the configuration file according to the current language code provided by the device when the app is launched.
In addition, the Mobile Authenticator Studio app can be configured to enable users to change the app’s default language via the Settings menu of the device.
Mobile Authenticator Studio supports the following languages:
English (en)
German (de)
Italian (it)
French (fr)
Spanish (es)
You can add languages or remove the supported default languages except English which is mandatory. The language used in Mobile Authenticator Studio is determined by the language selected on the user's mobile device or the app settings as governed by the device's operating system.
If the user's mobile device is configured to use a non-supported language, the app language will by default be changed to English.
For more information about the in-app language and text customization, see Integrate app customization.
To change the app language
When the user wants to change the app language, they need to follow these steps in the app menu:
The user must tap the three dots at the top of the screen to access the menu and tap the Language option.
An alert message window pops up, where the user is prompted to tap Continue to proceed to the system app settings page.
On the system settings page, the user can select the language that will be applied for all the device content.
If the language selected in the system settings page is not supported by Mobile Authenticator Studio, the app language for Mobile Authenticator Studio will default to English.
