The New Audit Source – Server dialog allows you to define a new live audit connection to a OneSpan Authentication Server instance.
If both, the OneSpan Authentication Server instance and the Audit Viewer application, are installed on the same computer during installation (e.g. during a basic installation), then a default live audit connection is automatically set up in Audit Viewer. The display name used by that live audit connection is IAS on Local Machine.
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Display Name | Required. Descriptive name for the live audit source. |
Server Location | Required. The IP address of the OneSpan Authentication Server instance. |
Audit Port | Required. The port on which the OneSpan Authentication Server instance listens for live audit connections. |
Enable SSL | Select this checkbox and configure the settings in SSL Settings if you want to secure the connection with SSL. Note that you need to configure SSL also at the OneSpan Authentication Server end. |
Client Certificate | Optional. The SSL client certificate. This file is used by the Audit Viewer application for client certificate verification. |
Password | The corresponding password for the certificate file. |
CA | Required. The certification authority (CA) certificate used to allow clients to connect to the OneSpan Authentication Server instance via SSL. If you install OneSpan Authentication Server using a basic installation, a respective certificate is automatically generated for live auditing, i.e. ikey_liveaudit_serverca.pem. |
