In order to provide the best technical support possible, it is useful to know the following basic details ready as early as possible:

  • Which version of App Shielding are you using?

  • What does your configuration look like (config.xml)?

If the problem is related to using the Shielding Tool tool, then also include:

  • Which command line options did you use, and provide the configuration and rules.cfg files?

  • If possible, provide the .apk or .aab file for faster diagnostics.

If the problem is reproducible at run time:

  • Details on how to reproduce the problem.

  • Logs from logcat if applicable

  • Logs from a debug version of App Shielding provide more details, if it can be reproduced.

If the problem originates from Google Play:

  • How many users are using the app?

  • How many users are having the problem?

  • Which devices are affected?

  • Stack trace, if applicable
