Some versions of Windows may allow you to run the Maintenance Wizard, Configuration Utility, or other OneSpan Authentication Server administrator tool using a non-administrative user. However, doing so may result in configuration problems or permission issues.
This is because read/write access to some configuration files, log files, and other OneSpan Authentication Server files require administrative privileges. Without those rights, some configuration and administrative functions may not work properly.
As such, when running any OneSpan Authentication Server administrator tool in Windows, always do so using an administrator logon.
