General product information
As of version 2021-R1, Secure Agreement Automation has been renamed to OneSpan Identity Verification. If not explicitly stated otherwise, any information and references to Secure Agreement Automation also apply to OneSpan Identity Verification.
Other OneSpan products have also been renamed. For more information about name changes of the different products, refer to the respective product documentation.
Supported operating systems and browsers
OneSpan Identity Verification is designed to be used within the confines of a web browser (desktop or mobile). This serves to reduce the friction inherent in forcing the user to download a mobile application.

Constraints
Operating system and browser support includes the current version of the operating system or browser, as well as the preceding version.
OneSpan Identity Verification is not supported as part of a native application on a mobile device.
OneSpan Identity Verification does not support usage within an iFrame.

New features and enhancements
Various enhancements
Barcode scanning for Canadian and US identity document cards has been introduced by Mitek to improve the accuracy of the verification process. Previous versions only supported barcode scanning for Canadian and US driver's licenses.
Improvements have been made to the user guidance during a document capture.
Camera fix and Mitek SDK enhancement for iPhone 15 and iOS 17.x.
Fixes and other updates
Camera check passes on desktop when using Chrome mobile emulator
Description: It is possible to pass the camera check when using the Chrome mobile emulator on a desktop, even though the emulator does not have a front and back camera.
Status: This issue has been fixed.
Ability to download selfies for unsupported ID document
Description: End users can now download all images for verification if an unsupported document was used.
Camera permission dialog issue on iOS 17.x for iPad
Description: On iOS 17.x, an issue suppresses the camera permission dialog and directly shows an error that no camera was found.
Status: This issue has been fixed.
