Data that is replicated between OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance instances in a replication setup includes the following:
- Administration Web Interface settings.
- Audit information (optional, see Auditing, logging, and tracing).
Audit records are copied, but changes are not synchronized. For example, deleting audit records on one system does not delete the records on another system.
Data that is not replicated between OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance instances in a replication setup includes the following:
- Logging. Note that the remote syslog function allows consolidation and/or backup of logging information (see Auditing, logging, and tracing).
- Configuration Tool settings. This allows the activation of different services (e.g. authentication, signature and/or provisioning) on different OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance instances within a replication setup. However, this also means that some settings, such as enabling LDAP Active Directory back-end authentication, need to be configured manually on each replication instance.
