Score-based algorithms

In VACMAN Controller 3.14.0.0 the support of score-based authenticator applications has been introduced. The Digipass score-based algorithm is only applicable to compliant applications and compliant software Digipass (software Digipass based on the Digipass SDK 4.4 or later).

When score-based authenticator applications are used, Digipass generates a dynamic password or signature that contains safety information which depends on certain risks. These risks are evaluated on the client-side and are classified into three different categories:

• Platform
• User
• Context

The aim of using score-based Digipass responses (OTP or signature) is to obtain information via Authentication Suite Server SDK by means of a response about the risks evaluated on the client-side.
