SSL handshake error

Description

You have configured secure communication between Password Synchronization Manager and OneSpan Authentication Serverfor SEAL, but the TLS/SSL handshake was not successful and no TLS/SSL connection could be established.

Possible causes

• The SSL configuration is invalid.
• SSL is disabled on OneSpan Authentication Server.
• OneSpan Authentication Server uses an SSL cipher suite that is not supported by Password Synchronization Manager.

Solutions

Try one of the following:

• Verify the SSL configuration on the server using OneSpan Authentication Server Configuration Utility.
  • Verify that SSL is enabled.
  • Verify that the SSL port is open.
  • Verify that a valid SSL certificate is configured.
• Verify that the versions of OneSpan Authentication Server and Password Synchronization Manager are compatible.
