Modify the test policy

To run the test successfully, you need to modify the Test policy created in Create a test policy as outlined in the following procedure.

To modify the test policy

  1. Open the OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface.
  2. Navigate to Policies > List.
  3. Select the Test policy.
  4. In the Password Randomization tab, set Enabled to Yes.
  5. Click Save.

Connectivity

Reconnect the test machine to the network.

Test logon

To test logging on

  1. Log on to Windows with the test user account and an OTP. OneSpan Authentication Server will randomize the user password.
  2. Attempt to log on to the test computer with the test user account, using only the password for the standard Windows authentication. The logon should fail.

    As of this step, only Digipass authentication with one-time password is possible. Other authentication methods, including standard Windows authentication, will fail.
