Test VDP

Use this page to test whether your Virtual Mobile Authenticator works.

1. Select the way you would like your one-time password (OTP) delivered, either the default for Virtual Mobile Authenticator, email, SMS, or voice:

   • If you select email, enter the target email address in the Email Address field.
   • If you select SMS, enter the target mobile phone number into the Mobile field.
   • If you select voice, enter the target phone number into the Phone field.

2. Click Generate.

   OneSpan Authentication Server will attempt to send the OTP to the target email address or phone number specified. If OneSpan Authentication Server cannot send the OTP for any reason, an error message will be displayed on the page.

3. Check the mobile phone or your email for the OTP. If you selected voice as the delivery method, the format of the OTP may differ depending on the mobile number provider's gateway settings.
4. Enter the OTP into the One-Time Password field.
5. Click Verify. The results will be displayed on the screen.
