Troubleshooting tests

Test installation

This test verifies the integrity and consistency of the Password Synchronization Manager installation.

It includes:

• checking whether all files (executables and dynamic-link libraries) exist
• checking whether all installed files have the correct version information
• checking whether all dynamic-link libraries can be initialized
• checking whether all vital registry entries exist

Test system

This test verifies whether all required system resources are available.

Test server configuration

This test verifies the server configuration.

It includes:

• checking whether are configuration settings necessary are available and within valid range
• checking the connection to each configured authentication server (when using SEAL)

Test operation

This test verifies the password filter for correct operation.

It includes:

• checking the password filter status (enabled, active)
• verifying middleware module registration
