Update wizard

The Update wizard consists of a number of pages to collect information that is required to update OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance.

Select Update

If your OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance instance is connected to the OneSpan Customer Portal, select OneSpan Customer Portal in the Select Update page to request a list of any available updates. The wizard continues to the Available Updates page (online process only). For more information, see Available Updates (Online process only).

If your OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance instance is not connected to the OneSpan Customer Portal, you need to download an update package from the OneSpan Customer Portal. For more information about retrieving the necessary packages, see Retrieving offline update packages.

If you have already downloaded an update package on your computer for offline updating, click Saved Update and browse to the update package. The wizard takes you directly to the Verify Update page (see Verify Update).

Available Updates (Online process only)

On this page, the wizard displays the retrieval steps and lists any updates that are available on the OneSpan Customer Portal. Select the link of the required update to download it. The wizard displays the Download Update page where the download steps are reported. Click Next to continue.

Verify Update

On the Verify Update page, the wizard displays the steps to verify the update progress. Once this has been successfully verified, a change log for the selected update is displayed. Click Next to initiate the installation of this update and to restart OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance.

Services are temporarily not available while OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance is being restarted.

If you cancel the update process, the Update wizard will be closed.

Install Update

The Install Update page displays the progress of the installation steps. OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance will be automatically restarted after the installation has completed. Log on to the OneSpan Authentication Server Appliance Configuration Tool after the restart, and view the installation feedback on the Status page.
