A default RADIUS attributes dictionary is supplied with OneSpan Authentication Server to assign RADIUS attributes to users and user groups. This dictionary may be replaced with a custom dictionary or edited manually.
The dictionary file (radius.dct) contains a default set of RADIUS attributes. Attributes can be added, modified, or removed by editing the file. For details about attribute definitions and the dictionary file format, refer to the README.DCT file.
The easiest way to use a new, customized RADIUS attributes dictionary is to name it radius.dct and replace the default dictionary in the following location:
/etc/vasco/ias (Linux)
%PROGRAMFILES%\VASCO\IDENTIKEY Authentication Server\bin (Windows)
If you prefer to use a different file name, you can configure the respective file as described in the following procedure.
To use a custom RADIUS dictionary file
Copy the custom RADIUS dictionary file to the correct directory:
/etc/vasco/ias (Linux)
%PROGRAMFILES%\VASCO\IDENTIKEY Authentication Server\bin (Windows)
- Log on to the Administration Web Interface.
- Select SYSTEM > Server Configuration.
- Switch to the General tab.
- Click Edit.
- Type the name of the custom RADIUS attributes dictionary file in the RADIUS Dictionary File box.
- Click Save.
