LDAP Synchronization Tool supports the following versions of Windows:
Windows Server 2022
Windows Server 2019
Windows Server 2016
Installing LDAP Synchronization Tool on Microsoft Windows
To install LDAP Synchronization Tool on Microsoft Windows
Run the setup package, i.e. ldapsync_3.26.0_x64.msi.
Read the license agreement, select I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
(OPTIONAL) Specify the destination folder.
The default destination folder is %PROGRAMFILES%\OneSpan\LDAP Synchronization Tool.
Select if you want to install LDAP Synchronization Tool as a Windows service (default option).
Click Install to start the installation.
After successful installation, click Finish to exit the setup.
Launch LDAP Synchronization Tool Configuration Utility and configure your profiles, including tracing and auditing information (see LDAP Synchronization Tool Configuration Utility).
The new settings will not take effect until the LDAP Synchronization Tool service has been restarted.
Additional considerations
LDAP Synchronization Tool will run by default as a Windows service called ldap-synchronization-tool. You can use Windows Services to stop or start this service.
