You can enhance a multi-device licensing authenticator instance by adding a description, which helps in identifying connected instances and managing them effectively. This feature allows you to delete unnecessary instances and update descriptions as needed. The description can also serve as a criterion for querying authenticators. It is important to note that the description field has a character limit of 255. This functionality is accessible through the OneSpan Trusted Identity platform API, with specific endpoints available for adding and updating descriptions. Utilizing this optional feature of OneSpan Cloud Authentication can streamline the management of authenticator instances, making it easier to maintain organization and clarity within your authentication processes.
