This page allows you to specify the general settings for the server instance.
Changes of the general settings require a restart of the OneSpan Authentication Server service. When you exit the Configuration Utility, you will be prompted to allow an automatic service restart.
Field name | Description |
Server Location | The IP address of the OneSpan Authentication Server instance. This must be a valid IPv4 address and the same IP address as set in the server license. |
RADIUS Dictionary file | The name of the used RADIUS dictionary file. |
Tracing | There are 3 choices for the tracing level:
|
Disable log caching | If selected, log data will not be stored in the cache, but flushed after each record. We do not recommend to disable log caching permanently, because constantly writing log data significantly increases disk usage and affects the performance of OneSpan Authentication Server services. Disable log caching only when you investigate server or application issues. |
Enable log rotation | Trace files can be rotated, with a new file being created after a specified elapsed time period, or when a specified size is reached. Select this checkbox to enable trace file rotation. This option is available only if the tracing level is set to Basic or Full. |
Rotate on days | Start a new trace log file after the specified number of days. |
Rotate on size | Start a new trace log file when the current file reaches the specified size. |
Number of archived logs | The maximum number of trace log files to keep. The number of archived trace log files will remain constant, but a new file will be added to the archive list, and the oldest file will be deleted. |
Compress archived logs | Determines whether archived trace log files should be compressed. |
