Validate transaction event workflow tree
About this scenario
Intelligent Adaptive Authentication provides the capability to evaluate the risk before an end user tries to send a transaction. Risk assessment takes place based on the transaction details and the browser/mobile context.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have completed the steps described in Scenario: User registration.

Walkthrough: Validate transaction event
Use the following URL to start the transaction validation process:
https://your_instance_url/openam/XUI/?realm=/&service=OneSpan-XUI-Adapative-Authentication-Validate-Transaction-Sample-Tree#login
Enter the transaction details and click LOG IN. For available transaction types, refer to the Interactive API Reference, TransactionInput schema > transactionType attribute
This workflow uses the OneSpan Sample Transaction Collector to obtain the required transaction details.
ForgeRock login dialog
Use the push notification or scan the Cronto image with the Adaptive Authentication Services (AAS) mobile demo app to continue the process.
In the mobile app, confirm the transaction details and enter your PIN if required.
Whether the PIN is required depends on the respective rule set up for risk analysis (see Set up rules in Risk Analytics Presentation Service).
When transaction validation is completed, the Adaptive Authentication Services (AAS) mobile demo app will indicate that the event was successfully authenticated, and the browser will be redirected to the success URL.
In Risk Analytics Presentation Service, select SUPERVISE & INVESTIGATE > Latest Events, and review the event.

Additional considerations
The workflow tree uses the following sample nodes:
The OneSpan Sample nodes are provided and included in the OneSpan Authentication for ForgeRock package for demonstration purposes only. You should not use these nodes in production environments, but replace them with your own node implementations.
